📝 Quizzable - Turn notes into interactive quiz games

💡 What is Quizzable?

Quizzable helps you learn faster by turning your notes into study tools. You use your existing files in the Obsidian note-taking app to build quizzes. You can create multiple-choice questions, track your scores, and test your knowledge without leaving your workspace.

🛠️ System Requirements

• Obsidian app version 1.0 or higher.
• A Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer.
• Basic knowledge of how to open the Obsidian settings menu.

📥 Installation Steps

1. Visit the official repository page here to download the plugin files.
2. Open the folder where Obsidian stores your vault on your computer.
3. Locate the hidden folder named .obsidian within your vault folder.
4. Open the plugins folder inside the .obsidian folder. If this plugins folder does not exist, create a new folder and name it plugins.
5. Extract the downloaded files into this plugins folder.
6. Restart Obsidian.
7. Open the Settings menu in Obsidian and select Community plugins.
8. Turn off Restricted mode if it is enabled.
9. Find Quizzable in the list of installed plugins and click the toggle switch to turn it on.

🕹️ How to create a quiz

You define quiz questions directly inside your markdown notes. You type the question, followed by several choices. Mark the correct answer clearly. The plugin reads these files and renders the quiz inside the note as a playable element.

You can create various types of quizzes. Use the plugin interface to cycle through your questions and receive immediate feedback on your answers. The scoring system logs your performance so you can track your progress over time.

⚙️ Plugin Settings

Once active, you access the plugin settings by clicking the gear icon in the Quizzable plugin card. Here, you can adjust the scoring style and customize the color of your quiz interface. These settings apply to every quiz you create within your current vault.
